After years of moving state-to-state with not much say in the matter (#armywife), we have finally settled down close to our families near Upland, Indiana. It’s always been our dream for our kids to be near their cousins, and the free babysitting ain’t so bad either! In our home by the creek, it’s me, my husband, our three kids, and some chickens. 

My dream has always been to live out in the country near family, be a stay at home mom, and write on the side. Having the title “author” felt like an unrealistic dream though. But after surviving sepsis and then walking the journey of mentally and emotionally healing from the trauma, I knew God had given me a story to share. Despite the road it took to get here, God knew my heart’s desires and my dreams are coming true–not exactly in the ways I pictured, but even better.
